WideOrbit, vCreative Complete EMI Integration

Multimedia Workflow Product Developer vCreative connected its workflow management platform to the broadcast media inventory and revenue management service provider WideOrbit.

WideOrbit certified integration between vCreative’s vPPO platform and the Instructions for electronic equipment mods for WO Traffic NewsWideOrbit’s flagship ad selling and business operations platform, is designed to enable the end-to-end exchange of copy instructions.

This, the companies say, eliminates errors.

WideOrbit’s electronic hardware instructions are described as the first automated product to address “the long-standing need to simplify and streamline the hardware instruction process.”

WideOrbit adds that its Electronic Material Instructions module automates the receipt of new and revised material instructions from vCreative’s production workflow management system for electronic import into WO Traffic.

Prior to this integration, data associated with copy and trade instructions would be entered into WideOrbit, and the same information would be re-entered into vCreative, as part of the workflow required to produce or collect the creative assets.

“With the integration of electronic material instructions, vCreative electronically shares the data needed to instruct all WO Traffic spots, dramatically reducing the time it takes to manage this process,” the companies note.

In addition to the integration of electronic material instructions, WideOrbit and vCreative have also created a feature that automatically fulfills production orders in vCreative’s vPPO and vPRO platforms from the WideOrbit contract in WO Traffic, creating a link between the hardware ID in both systems. This two-way exchange of contract data, copies and material instructions eliminates costly errors and saves each user hours of input time, the companies note.
