Skyworth expands its RDK content offering

NetRange MMH GmbH’s Smart TV Portal for RDK and NetFront Browser BE have been selected to provide global content services through Skyworth RDK set-top boxes.

It is the result of a new agreement between NetRange, an ACCESS company and global provider of turnkey white label Smart TV and OTT ecosystems, and Skyworth Digital Technology.

RDK is an open-source software platform for set-top boxes and smart TVs.

The NetRange Smart TV Portal for RDK provides consumers with access to local and regional entertainment, sports, news, children’s VoD and live TV, as well as games.

The NetRange service portfolio covers all necessary process steps: business model, user interface design and design, backend development and construction, portal integration with content management system (CMS) and hardware, and finally , live operation.

NetRange provides ongoing development and maintenance of the portal as well as the expansion of its global content portfolio. NetRange portals and ecosystems can be managed as global solutions or designed for specific countries.
