WHAT: ADP Research Institute® will publish the March conclusions of the ADP National Employment Report, ADP Small Business Report and ADP National Franchise Report to Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 8:15 a.m. ET.

Because of the important contribution of small businesses to economic growth, ADP Research Institute publishes the ADP Small Business Report regardless of the ADP National Employment Report. the ADP Small Business Report provides detailed private sector employment data specific to firms with 49 or fewer employees.

Widely distributed to the public each month, free of charge, the ADP National Employment Report and ADP Small Business Report are derived from ADP payroll data representing 460,000 US customers and nearly 26 million workers, and are published by the ADP Research Institute in conjunction with Moody’s Analytics.

the ADP National Franchise Report measures monthly changes in franchise employment. The paired sample used to develop the ADP National Franchise Report is derived from ADP payroll data, which represents 15,000 franchisors and franchisees employing nearly one million workers in the United States.

Because of this treatment, this subset is modified to make it indicative of national employment levels; therefore, the resulting employment changes calculated for ADP’s National Employment Report are not representative of changes in ADP’s total base of US business clients.
