Thank you when the World Technology Trade Association ITI will welcome FAC Commissioner Geoffroy Starks for a virtual discussion dedicated to the modernization of digital infrastructures in the United States
The Democratic Commission plans to share how the US government can work with domestic industry to ensure efficient and timely deployment of infrastructure funding.
The event, which is part of the ITI Bridge for innovation series, will also feature industry leaders and ITI member companies from Cisco, Corning, Equinix and Qualcomm.
Passage of the Infrastructure and Investment Jobs Act brings billions of new investments to the United States to expand broadband and bridge the digital divide, improve our cybersecurity defenses, improve digital government services and more again, ”notes the ITI. “But how can this funding be allocated to ensure that the biggest infrastructure bill in recent history benefits all Americans? “
This is a question that Starks plans to address.
The event will also feature industry leaders who will discuss modernizing digital infrastructure and providing secure connectivity to all Americans. Panelists will understand Alissa Cooper, VP and CTO for technology policy for Cisco systems; Jon Lin, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Data Center Services for Equinix; Dr Durga Malladi, Senior Vice President and General Manager of 5G, Mobile Broadband and Infrastructure for Qualcomm Technologies; and Jason Zelley, Responsible for market development of operator networks and emerging accounts for Corning incorporated.
