Evoqua Water Technologies, a critical water and wastewater treatment solutions company, recently completed the purchase of a kidney business operated by Mar Cor Purification and Cantel Medical.

The purchase helps Evoqua expand its reach into the vertical healthcare market.

It operates 27 service and reclamation facilities in the United States and Canada and designs, builds and maintains water treatment systems for an installed base of approximately 5,500 sites.

“We are delighted to officially welcome Mar Cor to the Evoqua family,” said Ron Keating, CEO of Evoqua. “With the closing of this transaction, Evoqua is well positioned to expand our service footprint in North America to provide proven water solutions for the healthcare industry. ”
