Collection of Photos to Display at the Columbiana Center > Columbia Business Report

Pictures of LOOK from Family Connection! The 2021 exhibit will be on display at the Columbiana Center Mall beginning Saturday.

Family Connection serves SC families who have children with disabilities or chronic illnesses. The opening of the exhibition will take place on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Belk Court in the shopping centre.

“We are honored to have this opportunity to bring pieces from our LOOK! collection to the Columbiana Center,” said Amy Holbert, CEO of Family Connection, in a press release. “These beautiful photos of the children and youth that we serve represent Family Connection’s goals of creating inclusion, equity and community.”

Photographers from across the state volunteered their time and talents to capture attendees in candid moments doing the things they love to do best.

Companies or places interested in hosting photos from the collection can contact Jacki Garbinsky at Family Connection of South Carolina at 803-995-1413 or [email protected]

“Supporting South Carolina arts and families is extremely important to us, especially on a local level, and we are thrilled to partner with Family Connection of South Carolina as we bring the LOOK! Collection of photos from our property,” said Taryn Trefethen-Boileau, Executive Director of the Columbiana Center. “We do our best to provide our community with not only retail and dining options, but alternative attractions as well. This exhibition is a perfect example, and we look forward to inviting our visitors to view the gallery of works.

The look! The 2021 collection will be on display at Belk Court until October. The full collection, which premiered in August 2021 at the Koger Center for the Arts, can be viewed online at www.familyconnectionsc.org/look.

“We hope visitors to the Columbiana Center will take the time to tour the exhibit, view the photos, and read the inspiring stories that accompany them,” Holbert said.
